What an incredible day! On Wednesday, September 24th, Help at Home Senior Care had the honor of hosting a Centenarian Celebration at the National Automobile Museum in Reno.
We are deeply grateful to the centenarians and their families, some traveling from out of town, for sharing their stories, history, and even a few secrets to longevity. It was truly an honor to celebrate their lives and legacies.
A huge thank you to the National Automobile Museum team for creating custom license plates for each centenarian, and for rolling a 1925 automobile into the room so guests could celebrate alongside a 100-year-old car—an unforgettable touch!
We are also grateful to Mayor Hilary Schieve and her team for attending, presenting keys to the city, and issuing a proclamation to honor these remarkable individuals.
Thanks also to our senior care community partners who provided snacks, drinks, and support, and to Jodi at Help at Home Senior Care for coordinating such a meaningful celebration.
At Help at Home, we know in-home senior care is more than just support—it’s about honoring history, creating joy, and helping older adults live comfortably at home with dignity, connection, and compassionate home health care.
