As our nation prepared to celebrate Independence Day and 250 years of American freedom, our Community Relations Coordinator was honored to attend the Veterans Administration Resource Fair on July 1 in Reno.
This event brought together organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and their families, creating an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share valuable resources available throughout the Reno-Sparks community.
At Help at Home Senior Care, serving those who have served our country is one of our greatest privileges. We are proud to provide compassionate, personal care service that helps veterans maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in the comfort of their own homes.
Events like the VA Resource Fair allow us to educate veterans, caregivers, and families about the many ways home care can make daily life easier—from personal care and companionship to respite care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and specialized dementia support. They also strengthen relationships with fellow healthcare providers, veteran organizations, and community resource partners, ensuring veterans have access to the coordinated support they deserve.
As we celebrated our nation's 250th anniversary, we were reminded that the freedoms we enjoy today were made possible through the courage and sacrifice of our veterans. Their service inspires us every day, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back by caring for those who once cared for our country.
To all of our veterans, thank you for your service. It is our honor to serve you and your families throughout the Reno and Sparks community.
