We place a high priority on the training and education of our caregiving team. Our caregivers attend in-person classroom training that includes the opportunity to perfect their skills with hands-on training using a weighted mannequin. Caregivers also receive many hours of training through our partnership with the professional educators at CareAcademy. All topics include a comprehension test to insure maximum retention of the material. Caregivers also have the opportunity to increase their knowledge utilizing our specialized Certification Training Program. Our Dementia Care Certification has been approved by the Alzheimer’s Association. Other certifications include Stroke Recovery, Parkinson’s Care, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Respiratory Care, Falls Prevention, and Behavioral Health. An in-home Care Team equipped for each senior’s individual needs enables Help at Home Senior Care to provide care for a full range of needs.
